Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the richest and most famous Reggae Singers was born on 26 February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas, a cult film featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and songs like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae chart),"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the growing recognition of his new generation reggae music. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees on Avenue in 1997. It was a hugely hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at Midem (international musical showcase) during its time at Miami for the first time. At the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bid war.
